Shipping of your order

Packages are generally dispatched within 24 hours after receipt of payment and are shipped via UPS express courier with tracking. We will provide you with a link to track your package online.

The carriers do not phone in advance or accept requests to deliver at particular times.

Please check that the packaging is intact when you receive your order. in the event of any problem, please see the next paragraph "Delivery problems".

 

How is the order shipped?

Our main concern is to safeguard the product in its perfect condition throughout the delivery. We use vacuum storage containers and/or synthetic ice for food in order to guarantee the preservation of perishable goods. It is important to receive the products at the first attempted delivery to preserve freshness and quality.

To ensure the quality of products during the summer non perishable products are shipped on Thursdays and Fridays so that they remain firm in the warehouses of the couriers. The shipments are postponed to Monday.

Products will be shipped by TNT (Italy) or UPS (Europe)

 

Package Tracking Information

You can check the status of your delivery directly by going to the section "Order history and details" and clicking on "Details" for the order number that you want to track. Once you have reached the detail of the order, click on the number that's shown under the heading "TRACKING NUMBER" (at the bottom of the list) and you will be redirected to the website of the carrier responsible for shipping your order where you can see updates in real time on the delivery.
The updates don't usually become visible on the carrier's website until a few hours after confirmation of despatch.

Alternatively, you can contact the carrier responsible for your delivery, by phone and quote the waybill number (also known as the despatch code) of the package(s), shown in the order details and in the email received when the order was despatched.

Delivery problems

Please check the package(s) carefully when you receive the goods. If the packaging is dented, wet or shows any other defect (e.g. a parcel is fastened with the carrier's tape, damaged packaging), you should not accept the goods and you should complain to the carrier directly about the problem and send an email using the our contact form.

You can also accept delivery of the order if it shows slight damage by stating "subject to inspection", next to the signature of acceptance, specifying the type of problem found (e.g. reservation for parcel with damaged box - reservation for 2 missing parcels).
Please note: the use of "SUBJECT TO INSPECTION" is a right under the Italian Civil Code Art. n° 1698.

HOW TO SIGN THE "SUBJECT TO INSPECTION" CORRECTLY (SOME EXAMPLES):
Subject to inspection of pierced or dented packaging.
Subject to inspection of wet packaging.
Subject to inspection of carrier's tape.

If the contents should be damaged, you should send a notification immediately via our contact form, no later than 24 hours from receiving the order. No disputes can be accepted after that deadline.

 

Shipping costs and delivery times

Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. Handling fees are fixed, whereas transport fees vary according to total weight of the shipment. We advise you to group your items in one order. We cannot group two distinct orders placed separately, and shipping fees will apply to each of them. Your package will be dispatched at your own risk, but special care is taken to protect fragile objects.

Boxes are amply sized and your items are well-protected.
